Located 1,500 m above sea level on the Langbiang Plateau in Lam Dong Province, Da Lat is one of Vietnam’s most attractive tourist destinations. Da Lat has various waterfalls. Cam Ly, Prenn and Pongour are three beautiful waterfalls in this city. Prenn waterfall looks very gentle and graceful. It pours water from a height of 10m to a small lake. Around the Prenn, flowers always bloom, contribute to its charming beauty. Pongour is known as seven-storey waterfall. It pours from a height of about 40m to the seven floors of stone stairs system. If you love nature, explore the vegetation diversity there may be a great experience. Although waterfalls are often less attractive in the dry season but most of them locate near the center of the city so take a trip to some of them is not a bad idea.

Da Lat is famed for its natural and artificial lakes like Xuan Huong, Than Tho or Suoi Vang. Than Tho Lake is a natural lake in the city. Than Tho always welcome visitors with beautiful sightseeing and a very fresh air. You can boat on the lake or go for a picnic or camping somewhere nearby. It is a favorite tourist destination of Da Lat city. Another natural lake you can visit is Suoi Vang Lake. It is the largest freshwater lake in Da Lat, providing water for the city. An artificial lake you should not miss is Xuan Huong Lake built in 1919 by initiative of Cunhac next to Cu hill. The lake has glamorous sightseeing especially when the sun sets. Dalat Flower Park which situated around the north shore of Xuan Huong Lake, the valley of the Hill Cu, is a colorful park that you should take time to visit. The park has about 7000 flowers m² with an impressive layout. There countless famous flowers perhaps you could not find anywhere else in Vietnam are grown. Da Lat Flower Park is the place where annual flower festival is held every year. This colorful park is an ideal place for you to take some photographs.
